Transport
Subsidised shuttle bus between Gillingham station and the prison £2.5k
Clothing
Basic clothing provided for men leaving with no property or no fixed abode. This sometimes includes a tent and sleeping bag £3.5k
Playworker
Provision of a Playworker during Visits to help entertain the children and enable quality time for the family £6.0k
Family days/Children’s gifts
Providing food and drink for monthly extended visits and occasional children’s gifts, for example at Christmas or Easter time £2.0k
Education
To support individuals or groups of men who have specific requirements not covered by the prison education department £2.0k
Art Materials
Provision of materials so men can benefit from using art as a means of expression or release or specifically for men finding it difficult to communicate by other means £0.5k
Training Courses
Additional training to help and support men seeking employment on release for example, barbering; computing; driving test etc £1.0k
Industry workshops
Provision of additional materials or tools, not provided by HMP Guys Marsh but which benefit the men in their employment £0.4k
Leavers Bags
A small backpack filled with basic toiletries and given to men on release who are going into hostels or with no fixed abode to give them an element of self-respect £1.5k
Yoga/Mindfulness
Subsidising the provision of a mentor to encourage Yoga and Mindfulness £2.0k

In addition, we are in constant communication with the senior management of HMP Guys Marsh to learn of projects they are undertaking which we may be able to enhance, so this is the minimum we need to raise each year just to maintain our current level of involvement.

All the trustees are volunteers and take no payment for their time and input into the charity.
